What we collect today
Right now, FeedCred is in waitlist mode. Joining the waitlist collects only your email address and the role you selected (talent or recruiter), stored to notify you when access opens. Nothing else is collected at this stage.
What we'll collect once you connect
Once your side of the product opens, connecting an account (X, Bluesky, Mastodon, Threads, GitHub — read automatically; Hacker News and Reddit — opt-in only) reads your public posts to build your profile. We never guess or match an account to you by name alone; each platform's own OAuth connection proves ownership first.
Opt-in required, before listing
Nobody becomes a searchable profile until they connect their own account. People who never connect have no data with FeedCred at all — never searchable, never surfaced, never stored.
Who can see your data
Recruiters can search and view verified profiles of people who've connected. Search itself is unlimited; a credit is spent only at the moment a recruiter reaches out to someone. Talent controls visibility entirely by choosing whether to connect.
Self-serve removal, always available
You can delete your account and every trace of your data at any time. Removal deletes your profile and stops all reads immediately. We don't keep a shadow copy; reconnecting later starts fresh from what's public now, not an old snapshot.
Where your data lives
FeedCred is hosted in the EU (eu-west-1) for the Europe-first launch, so there are no cross-border transfer questions to defend.
Sharing with third parties
We don't sell personal data. We share it only with the infrastructure providers required to run the service (hosting, authentication, email delivery) — never with third parties for marketing or resale.
